Tips for success

Add lime if the soil is too acidic – you will need a pH of around 6.5. Mix in gypsum if the soil is a heavy clay-loam and/or some sandy-loam topsoil. If the soil does not absorb water easily use Hortico Soil Wetter Hose-On and Hortico Water Storage Crystals which store water at the roots.
